Over the past week while reading the books of Joshua and Mark, I've seen both sides of the same coin. Justice, while much deserved is often a hard pill to swallow. Mercy on the other hand, is undeserved and can be an equally hard pill to swallow, particularly for those who question the lack of justice. God decides when to administer mercy, intervening in the cause of justice. But I wouldn't take the risk that this will always happen.
